Space conditioning is delivered to the rooms through a sealed sheet metal duct system stemming from the high efficiency air handler in the crawlspace. A high performance enclosure combined with the high efficiency mechanical system not only provides comfort, but cost savings as well, with the 2,500 square foot home using 45% less energy for heating, cooling and hot water than a home built to code at the time.
